September 22, the opening of the modernized Artashat cannery took place. One of the largest enterprises in Armenia has undergone a $ 3.5 million modernization program. Italy's leading Cavalieri tomato processing equipment was commissioned in the Artfood factory. It is worth mentioning, that today it is the only line in EEU, the technology of which is unique and patented. In the next five years, the company plans to develop work in 4 main areas:

• Double the production growth by also improving the productivity
• Export increase by 3.5 times: products are exported not only to Russia, but also to Georgia, Belgium, the USA, Canada, England and Kazakhstan, negotiations are ongoing with the largest importer of Israel
• Creation and export of new products
• An even greater improvement in product quality

Today, the factory is a reliable partner for more than 2000 suppliers. This year, the number of employees increased by 25%, exceeding 1,000 citizens. The company works closely with small and medium-sized businesses. The purchase of agricultural raw materials from farmers doubled this year, exceeding 2 billion drams.
